Polycystické vaječníky
Pracovala jsem v zahraničí více než půl roku a při běžné gynekologické prohlídce mi po vyšetření ultrazvukem doktorka sdělila, že mám PCO. Co to vlastně je? Kolem vaječníků jsou malé cysty, které brání ovulaci. Paradox je v tom, že můžete normálně, pravidelně menstruovat, ale nemůže dojít k oplodnění. Gynekoložka si také všimla mé problémové, citlivé pleti a vyjádřila obavu nad zvýšenou hladinou testosteronu, která se po krevních testech potvrdila. Zašla jsem potom i za endokrynologem a ten nakonec odsouhlasil diagnozu a řekl mi, že právě PCO souvisí se zvýšeným testosteronem. Předepsal mi prášky, které se prý za jiných okolností podávají diabetikům a pokusil se mě uklidnit, že v podstatě každý lék je možné použít při více, různých onemocněních - například: aspirin proti bolesti hlavy nebo při infarktu (neboť ředí krev). Přesto jsem prášky brát nezačala, protože se vědomě i podvědomě (intuice, moje tělo) bráním jakémukoliv chemickému, natož hormonálnímu zásahu do svého organismu. Avšak vzhledem k tomu, že mi bylo mimo jiné řečeno, že se zvýšeným testosteronem a syndromem PCO, ač v mírné formě, nebude tak snadné otěhotnět, začala jsem pátrat na stránkách internetu, jak to tedy s těmi hormony a PCO vlastně je. Po rozhovorech s kamarádkami jsem došla k závěru, že zvýšený testosteron má snad každá druhá žena :o) a že je dost podivné, že o PCO nemají ponětí ani jejich gynekoložky. Také je dost zvláštní, že naše ženské lékařky musíme často samy navádět k jakékoliv "akci" ohledně zjištění - PROČ NÁM TO NEJDE?! Takže tady jsou moje nálezy, dedukce a odkazy na stránky s diskuzemi ohledně daného tématu. Jestli máte někdo vlastní zkušenost, určitě nebudu jediná, kdo ocení Váš komentář.
11.11.08 - tak dnes jsem byla na gyndě a doktorka mi potvrdila po vyšetření ultrazvukem, že se mi vajíčko nezraje. Ukázala mi na obrazovce, ze mám kolem vaječníku drobné bílé tečky - tedy ty cysty a že se zádný folikul nezvětšuje, což znamená, že k ovulaci nedochází.
Také mi potvrdila, že metformin obsažený v lécích, které mi předepsal endokrynolog v SAE by na to mohl mít dobrý vliv, ale že v Čechách léčba tímto prostředkem ještě není rozšířená a v podstatě ani moc schválená. Zvláštní že? Nicméně, protože mám velmi liberální gynekoložku, brouzdala se mnou po internetu a našli jsme další léky s podobným složením jako má GLUCOPHAGE (např. diaphage). Některé vyrábí české firmy, jiné zahraniční. Ceny na předpis se pohybují velmi nízko u všech těchto preparátů, takže jsem prozatím zůstala u GLUCOPHAGE. Doktor v Arábii říkal, že aby to mělo ten správný účinek, musím to brát min tři měsíce, ale raději půl roku. Tak uvidím za měsíc na další prohlídce, jestli se tam uvnitř něco děje.
